Welcome to Dungeon City!!!
Hello. My name is Wendrilhum Warlock. I am a Dungeons and Dragons fan and I figured I might as well create a tool to create characters, as this would be very useful to those wishing to create a character. Dungeon City is a website I made so that you can choose from different characters when you are doing a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. On this page, I will tell you all about the different aspects of creating your own character. First, print out a blank character sheet online. Then, you decide each aspect.
There are three different aspects of each character that defines them. They are as follows:
Character Classes:
Your class defines what kind of fighting you do, whether you have magic, your hit points, your abilities, and generally most of your character. Here are a few common classes:
- The Wizard. Wizards dedicate their life to learning lore, magic, and arcane secrets. Wizards carry spellbooks and use components and incantations to manipulate the fabric of the multiverse.
- The Cleric. Clerics serve some diety that they worship. The diety bestows divine magic upon them, allowing them to cast spells and perform rituals. Clerics tend to specialize in healing magic rather than killing magic.
- The Rogue. Rogues lead a life of crime and theft. They tend to strike first and ask questions later. By striking where the enemy is weakest, and using agility and dexterity, rogues can take down enemy after enemy.
- The Barbarian. Barbarians look down upon the peoples of settled towns and cities, for they believe that primal instinct and furiosity is above all important. They can enter a certain number of battle rages, which get more powerful and plentiful as they level up.
- The Warlock. Warlocks make pacts and agreements with horrible fiends and powerful spirits who, like teachers, instruct the warlock and give them otherworldly power and magic. Warlocks usually stumble into the agreements because of an insatiable thirst for power and magic.
- The Rune Caster(Made by Wendrilhum Warlock) Rune Casters channel divine power like clerics, but instead of casting spells in the moment, they precarve runes onto wood or stone, which in turn channel the powers of gods, goddesses, spirits and fiends.
Character Races:
Your race is what you are. You can choose from an extremely wide variety of races, from humans to elves to flying Aarakocra. There will be many more races than classes. Here is a list of 15 different races:
- Human. Humans are incredibly diverse and intelligent, often knowing a little about a lot.
- Elf. Elves are a people of otherworldly grace, living in this world but not entirely part of it.
- Dwarf. Dwarves are stout and hardy, with a very established religion. Dwarves often make great clerics and paladins.
- Halfling. Halflings are small but mighty. They absolutely hate folk who look down on them because of their size.
- Aarakocra. Part-humanoid, part-eagle, Aarakocra dominate the skies. They have massive wings and sharp talons, which give them many advantages in battle.
- Dragonborn. Dragonborns look like dragons standing in human form, without wings. They have powerful breath, claws and tails to help them in combat.
- Grung. Grungs have all sorts of wierd bonuses, part and parcel of their absurd nature.
- Centaur. Part-elf, part-horse, these creatures gallop through adventures, using their speed and fey ancestry to their advantage.
- Gnome. Gnomes emphasize the power of life and nature. They are more plants than animals themselves.
